How to use the Dial Telephone
This scanned booklet was released in the 1950s by Michigan Bell Telephone Company. It provides special information and dialing instructions for placing calls from a dial telephone. Note the reference to phone numbers with letters and numbers. Back then phone numbers included exchange names. For example the fictional number 555-5547 may have been known as KLondyke 5- 5547 or simply KL5-5547. |
